PITTSBURGH, Feb. 3, 2026
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a new type of salon bowl that would be modified to accommodate clients with long hair during the shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing processes," said an inventor, from Indianapolis, Ind., "so I invented the Indianapolis. My design would allow the client's long hair to naturally flow into the sink and without swirling into a tangled mess."
The patent-pending invention provides an improved hairstyling salon bowl to accommodate clients with long hair. In doing so, it prevents hair from tangling, pulling, tugging, matting, and knotting. It also eliminates the need for long hair to sit in unclean water. Additionally, it would stimulate and massage the scalp for a more relaxing experience. The invention features an effective design that is easy to use so it is ideal for salons, hospitals, nursing homes, and cosmetology schools. A prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
